Abstract
The popular science lectures are one of the main methods for public education of earthquake prevention and disaster reduction. As an absolutely necessary part of popular science lectures for earthquake, the effect of the science lectures is directly influenced by the content, form and creation level of the popular science courseware. Now, there are problems exist such as uneven quality, the receptivity and understanding level of different ages and groups not been distinguished. Resources on earthquake prevention and disaster reduction should be widely collected. The recognition characteristics and demands of different social groups should be considered. The popular science courseware on earthquake facing different groups with scientific contents and rich resources should be produced.
