Statistical analysis of operation failure of Jiangxi seismic network

  • Applying mathematical statistics method, this paper systematically analyzes the reasons for the interruption of the operation of 25 stations in Jiangxi seismic network for five consecutive years since 2015, and classifies them into 8 major faults types. It is found that the station power supply and communication network are the main factors affecting the normal operation, accounting for more than 92%. Statistical analysis of faults shows that high temperature, intense summer heat and freezing cold are high-risk periods of faults, which takes about 8 weeks per year. According to the main factors and high-risk period, corresponding improvement measures and working suggestions are put forward, which play a positive role in the operation guarantee of Jiangxi seismic network.
