Preliminary study on co-seismic deformation steps of digital fixed-point and double earthquakes in Yunnan Province

  • The determination of the subsequent-earthquake trend is a hot topic for people in the disaster area. By analyzing the correlation between amplitudes of co-seismic deformation and subsequent earthquake from double earthquakes during 2008—2018 recorded by digital fixed point deformation instruments, it can be considered that two amplitudes of the co-seismic steps of fixed point deformation is directly related to the possibility of larger earthquake’s occurrence after double earthquakes in Yunnan.
