Study on earthquake emergency rescue management in Liangshan Prefecture

Earthquake is one of the most serious natural disasters. The local government plays an important role in exerting government functions, strengthening crisis management, vigorously promoting the construction of earthquake emergency rescue capabilities, as well as preventing and mitigating the risk of earthquake disasters. Based on the development of earthquake emergency rescue and related management in China, this paper expounds the practice of earthquake emergency rescue management in Liangshan Prefecture. Liangshan, Sichuan Province, carried out earthquake disaster risk management, improved the ability of earthquake emergency rescue, initially formed the construction of legal system and mechanism to promote earthquake emergency rescue management, revitalized earthquake prevention and disaster reduction, and comprehensively promoted a new pattern of national progress.
