Overview of worldwide earthquake disasters in 2017

According to global seismic hazard data in 2017, we summarized major hazard data of the global earthquakes, described the major seismic hazard, and analyzed the characteristics of disaster losses of hazard earthquakes in this year. By comparing the magnitude of quite a few earthquakes, we find that the fortified buildings are less damaged in the earthquakes, and it can effectively reduce property losses and casualties. On the other hand, unfortified buildings will suffer inestimable.
