Exploring the influence on data quality of the burial depth of electrodes in the Wujiahe geoelectric field Abservatory Station,Inner Mongolia Province

  • This article aims to explore the changes in observation data quality at the Wujiahe Station after increasing the burial depth of the LGB-3 solid non-polarized electrode from the original 3.5 meters to 5 meters in November 2018 through comparative analysis. To achieve this goal, relevant data from 2015 to 2023 were selected for calculation and analysis. The research results indicate that: 1. After deepening the deployment depth, there was no significant change in the correlation coefficient, and there was no positive or negative correlation between the correlation between each lateral direction and the burial depth of the electrode. 2. The results of the daily difference calculation show that the stability of the data has been further improved, and the quality of the observed data has been enhanced. 3. Daily average dynamic curve analysis shows that during frequent irrigation and rainfall from April to August, the number and amplitude of disturbances on each side are significantly reduced, demonstrating stronger anti-interference ability. 4. After analyzing the dominant azimuth angle of the earth's electric field, it was found that there was no significant change in the amplitude of alpha deflection and variation, indicating that the dominant azimuth angle was not affected by the deepening of electrode layout.
