Far ancient:Evolution of the Earth according to a legend

  • Where did I come from and where am I going? It was an amazing question since I was a child. Now it’s better, we can know some, but still don’t know more. The ancient literature of Gong Gong Touch Mountain actually speaks some information about the earthquake for the first time in the world. It force us to understand the basic concepts of the origin and evolution of the universe and the earth, the Last Glacial Maximum, the Coriolis effect and so on. This facilitates going to research the diversion of the Yellow River before the Yu’s water treatment. The ancient Yellow River once abandoned the Huai River and changed its flow to the north, which occurred in the late Neolithic period. It was inferenced that this disaster was caused by earthquakes occurred in the Yellow River, such as Huaxian event in 1556 and Sanmenxia event in 1815, which forced significant changes in the mountains and rivers. Actually, the fantastic old legends often foretell the truth and may help us understand the coming and going of the Earth.
