Determination of focal mechanism solutions of the earthquakes with M≥4.0 occurred in the mainland of China during July to September 2022

Abstract
In this paper, the regional full waveform inversion of the broadband waveforms from China Seismic Network were conducted, and the focal mechanism solutions of the 18 earthquakes with M≥4.0 in the mainland of China from July 1 to September 30, 2022 were obtained. The centroid location and time shift of the M6.8 Luding, Sichuan earthquake were determinated by a grid search in the horizontal plane. The types of these focal mechanism solutions show 6 reverse faulting, 7 strike-slip faulting, 4 normal faulting and 1 unknown earthquakes.
