Study on the influence of tropical cyclone to the deformation observation data of Wuzhishan Station

  • According to the statistics and data analysis of the tropical cyclone data which have influence to the deformation observation data at Wuzhishan Station, it is found that the response level of the tilt type instrument is obviously higher than that of the strain type instrument. In particular, the response of the VP vertical pendulum is the strongest, and the wind disturbance response of the SSY extensometer is the weakest. The maximum amplitude of the VP vertical pendulum is about 20×10−3″/ms, and the duration is related to the life cycle of the cyclone.
