Abstract:
The 1937 Heze earthquake of magnitude 7 is an earthquake with special historical value in the modern earthquake history of China: ①The original data of the Heze earthquake can be divided into four types: Newspaper and other written records, earthquake disaster situation questionnaire, seismic wave records, and old photos on the spot. This shows that the Heze earthquake has both old and modern seismology features, reflecting the development process from old seismology to modern seismology in China. ②Due to the full outbreak of Anti-Japanese War and other reasons, the government did not carry out effective rescue operations after the Heze earthquake. The disaster area was in a difficult situation. Only the " China international famine relief committee” in Shanghai came to the disaster area for a month after the earthquake to carry out limited relief activities. The Heze earthquake was a disastrous earthquake in the war period. Therefore, during wartime emergency rescue plans for natural disasters such as earthquakes should be paid attention in advance.
