预警项目建成前后宁夏台网地震监测能力评估对比

Evaluation Comparison of Earthquake Monitoring Capability of Ningxia Network Before and After the Early Warning Project

  • 摘要: 国家地震烈度速报与预警工程宁夏子项目建成后宁夏台网台站数量和分布发生了很大变化。基于台站背景噪声水平的方法对预警项目建成前后宁夏台网地震监测能力进行评估对比。结果表明:按照3台定位考虑,预警项目建成后宁夏区域地震监测能力为ML1.1,最小值为ML0.5,较项目建成前提升了0.5级;95%的区域地震监测能力最小震级达到ML1.3。预警项目建成后宁夏及周边区域(北纬34.5°~40.5°,东经103.5°~108.5°)地震监测能力为ML1.2,最小值为ML0.3,较项目建成前提升了0.7级;95%的区域地震监测能力最小震级达到ML1.6。分别按照4台、5台和6台定位考虑预警项目建成后:宁夏区域地震监测能力分别为:ML1.2、ML1.3和ML1.4,较预警项目建成前提升了0.5级;宁夏及周边区域地震监测能力分别为ML1.4、ML1.5和ML1.6,较预警项目建成前监测能力平均值提升了0.6级。预警项目的建成对宁夏及周边区域地震监测能力有较大提升。

     

    Abstract: After the completion of the Ningxia Sub-project of the National Earthquake Intensity Quick Report and Early Warning Project, the number and distribution of stations in the Ningxia network have changed greatly.Based on the method of background noise level, the seismic monitoring capability of Ningxia network was evaluated and compared before and after the early warning project was completed.The results show that:Considering the positioning of three units, After the early warning project was completed, the average value of earthquake monitoring capacity in Ningxia region was ML1.1, and the minimum value was ML0.5.It is 0.5 level higher than before the project was completed.95% of the region's seismic monitoring capabilities have a minimum magnitude ML1.3.After the completion of the project, the average seismic monitoring capability of Ningxia and its surrounding areas (latitude 34.5°~40.5° N, longitude 103.5°~108.5° E) is ML1.2, and the minimum value is ML0.3.It is 0.7 grade higher than before the completion of the project.95% of the region's seismic monitoring capacity has a minimum magnitude of ML1.6.Considering the positioning of 4, 5 and 6 units:After the early warning project was completed, the average seismic monitoring capacity of Ningxia region was ML1.2, ML1.3 and ML1.4 respectively. It is 0.5 level higher than before the construction of the early warning project.The average seismic monitoring capacity of Ningxia and its surrounding areas reached ML1.4, ML1.5 and ML1.6 respectively, which is 0.6 degree higher than the average monitoring capacity before the completion of the project.The early warning project has greatly improved the earthquake monitoring capability in Ningxia and its surrounding areas.
