STEAM教育视角下中小学地震科普路径思考

The path of earthquake science popularization in primary and secondary schools under the frame of STEAM education

  • 摘要: 简要概述了中小学地震科普的重要性、地震科普现状及存在的问题,重点探讨了基于STEAM教育理念的中小学地震科普发展路径。鉴于中小学地震科普教育现状及存在的问题,在明确地震科普教育主旨、服务对象或受众群体及有效科普内容和形式的基础上,本文运用STEAM教育理念对中小学地震科普有效路径提出思考,并以初中学段为例做具体案例分析,提出构建STEAM视角下地震科普生态体系。STEAM教育是融合了科学、技术、工程、艺术和数学 的跨学科教育理念,强调学科融合,并以项目为主线,教师为引领,学生为主体的一种全新的学习形式。本研究认为地震科普宣传需要融入STEAM教育理念、构建高质量科普教育体系,涵盖校内和校外的教育活动和主动学习能力,营造一个适合科普教育发展的生态体系。

     

    Abstract: This paper briefly summarizes the importance, current situation and existing problems of earthquake science popularization in primary and secondary schools, and focuses on the development path of earthquake science popularization based on STEAM education concept. On the basis of clarifying the main purpose, service target group of earthquake science popularization education, and effective popular science content and form, this paper applies the concept of STEAM education to propose the effective path of earthquake science popularization in primary and secondary schools. Taking the junior high school section as an example to make a specific case analysis, this paper suggests to build an earthquake science popularization ecosystem from the perspective of STEAM education. STEAM education is an interdisciplinary education concept that integrates science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics, emphasizing the integration of disciplines. It is a new form of learning in which taking projects as the main line, teachers as the lead, and students as the main body. This study argues that STEAM education needs to be integrated into the earthquake science popularization, and a high-quality science education system should be constructed, covering both on- and off-campus educational activities and active learning ability, so as to create an ecosystem suitable for the development of science popularization education.
