Abstract: The calibration function is used to calibrate and compensate the attenuation of seismic waves with distance. We calculate the calibration function of the Shanghai regional network, and then compare it with the national calibration function. We use two methods to calculate the calibration function, one with the statistical average magnitude and the other with the M_L magnitude definition.
