Abstract:
In this paper, seismic belt and apparent stress are analyzed in Northern Jiangxi and its periphery since 2014. The results showed that a
ML≥3.0 seismic belt appeared rapidly along Jiangxi Fengcheng—Anhui Mengcheng from October 2014 to June 2015. The average value of apparent stress is 0.49 MPa in seismic belt and the surrounding area. Apparent stress in the belt is higher than that in the west, and is lower than that of northern Jiangsu. For the
ML≥4.0 seismic strip along Jiangxi Ruichang—South Yellow Sea since April 2009, the average value of apparent stress is 1.72 MPa in the seismic strip and the surrounding area where the value in the strip is higher than that outside. The apparent stress overall increases along with the magnitude.
