嘉祥地震监测站综合防雷系统升级改造

Upgrading and reconstruction of the comprehensive lightning protection system at Jiaxiang Seismic Monitoring Station

  • 摘要: 嘉祥地震监测站的地球物理观测仪器大多数安装在山洞内,仪器均为数字化、网络化精密监测设备。由于台站地处雷电易发区,长期以来因遭雷击多次故障,造成观测数据中断。2022年对台站办公楼、观测山洞开展综合防雷系统升级改造,包括信号线防雷,室外接地网与等电位、引下线更新改造,安装防浪涌分流器等,以提高台站综合防雷能力,确保台站仪器稳定运行,保障台站地球物理观测数据的连续可靠。改造后效果证实台站综合防雷能力得到较好提升,能够对台站大部分感应雷、直击雷起到防护作用,但对个别突发性强直击雷还无法做到有效防护,因此,加强台站供电防雷设备巡查与定期检测十分重要。

     

    Abstract: Most of the geophysical observation instruments at the Jiaxiang Seismic Monitoring Station are installed in caves. These instruments are digital and networked precision monitoring devices. As the station is located in a lightning-prone area, it has suffered multiple failures caused by lightning strikes over a long period, resulting in interruptions to observation data. A comprehensive upgrade and renovation of the lightning protection system was conducted on the station’s office building and observation caves in 2022. The project included lightning protection measures for signal lines, the upgrade and renovation of the outdoor grounding grid, equipotential bonding systems and down conductors, and the installation of surge diverters. The aim was to improve the station’s overall lightning protection capability, ensure the stable operation of the station’s instruments, and guarantee the continuity and reliability of the station’s geophysical observation data. The post-renovation results have confirmed that the station’s comprehensive lightning protection capability has been well enhanced, providing protection against most induced lightning and direct lightning strikes at the station. However, they cannot provide effective protection against a small number of sudden and severe direct lightning strikes. Therefore, it is important to strengthen routine inspection and testing of the station’s power supply and lightning protection equipment.
