Abstract:
The DSQ water pipe inclinometer, a deformation instrument for observing the physical quantities of crustal deformation, plays an important role in earthquake analysis and prediction by extracting non-tidal signals and identifying transient events to capture micro-dynamic information on crustal deformation during earthquake preparation. To ensure the authenticity and reliability of the instrument observation data, the DSQ water pipe inclinometer requires regular calibration to ensure the stability of its grid parameters. In traditional calibration, many processes are needed to adjust the electrical sensitivity and often require multiple adjustments for success. This not only makes the method cumbersome, time-consuming, and inefficient, but also seriously affects the continuity and completeness of data. Through years of summarizing and exploring the actual operation of water pipe inclinometer calibration, a fast calibration and debugging method was developed and promoted for verification at multiple stations. It can quickly and efficiently complete the calibration, which is necessary for producing stable, complete, and reliable observation data.
