Abstract:
After the completion acceptance of the Beijing sub project of the National Earthquake Intensity Rapid Reporting and Early Warning Project, a seismic intensity rapid reporting and early warning network consisting of seismometers, seismometers, and intensity meters with an average station spacing of 9 kilometers has been established in the Beijing area. The high-density fusion network provides data support for accurate and rapid output of intensity rapid reporting results. In order to meet the demand for rapid intensity reporting in Beijing's earthquake emergency work, and based on the actual situation of earthquake reporting in the local area, a rapid output system for earthquake intensity reporting has been designed and implemented. The system is programmed in Python and combined with ArcGIS's ArcPy geographic data processing library to construct a set of intensity rapid reporting thematic map templates. After an earthquake occurs, the earthquake rapid reporting information system can automatically download seismic event waveform data, calculate instrument intensity values, and call prefabricated thematic map templates. Within 5-10 minutes after the official measurement results, strong earthquake reports and instrument intensity distribution maps can be automatically generated. The use of this system by duty officers can significantly shorten the time for mapping and report generation, improve the efficiency of report and image production, and provide preliminary information on the impact of post earthquake earthquakes to relevant departments, providing an information basis for the government and leaders to make preliminary decisions.
