南通地震中心站地电阻率异常探析

Earth resistivity anomalies at Nantong Seismic Center Station

  • 摘要: 地电阻率法是一种重要的地震预测方法,地电阻率观测受很多因素影响,如降雨、观测场地环境变化、观测系统故障等,有些干扰形态极易与震兆混淆。南通中心站顾庄观测站地电阻率采用ZD8BI数字地电仪共设两个测向,分别为NS测道和EW测道,日均值数据自2022年2—4月出现转折下降,4月18日起突然小幅上升,呈破年变状态。通过对南通中心站台站背景资料调查、地电观测场地环境分析、仪器工作状态检查、观测场地标定稳定性调查、气象因素调查、曾出现过的典型干扰变化和原因分析、同台地电场观测数据对比、江苏其他台点电阻率数据对比等方面深入排查,进行异常分析,判定该变化为降雨引起。上述工作可为今后资料分析、判定地电阻率台站周边地震活动趋势提供参考依据。

     

    Abstract: Ground resistivity is an earthquake prediction method that is influenced by various factors such as rainfall, changes in the environment surrounding the observation station, and observation system failures. Some forms of interference with seismic monitoring data are easily confused with seismic precursors. A ZD8BI digital geoelectric instrument in the NS and EW channel directions is used to determine the ground resistivity at the Guzhuang Observation Station of the Nantong Central Station. A turning point in the daily average ground resistivity was identified, decreasing from February to April 2022 and slightly increasing from April 18, 2022, differing from the normal annual variation. The background information from the Nantong Central Station was examined in depth; the environment surrounding the geoelectric observation site were analyzed. The equipment status and stability of the observation site calibration were determined. The meteorological factors as well as typical monitoring data interferences and their causes were studied. The observed resistivity data from the geoelectric field were compared with those and from other stations in Jiangsu, and anomalies were analyzed to determine whether the differences between stations were caused by rainfall. This study provides a reference for future data analysis and determining seismic activity trends around ground resistivity stations.
