Abstract:
A total of 410 global seismic events with MS greater than or equal to 4.0 recorded by the Ceke seismic monitoring station in Inner Mongolia from January 2023 to April 2024 were selected, compare and analyze the magnitude deviation between the surface wave magnitude measured by the Ceke Seismic Monitoring Station and the surface wave magnitude in the official catalog released by the China Earthquake Networks Center Center, and draw a conclusion that the average value of the surface wave magnitude deviation between the two is 0.15, with small overall deviation and high accuracy. Analyze the relationship between the magnitude deviation and the magnitude, epicenter distance, and azimuth, which is helpful to improve the accuracy and reliability of the magnitude determination of the Ceke Seismic Monitoring Station.
