新疆异地双震预警结果分析及算法改进

Early warning processing results and algorithm improvement for doublet earthquakes in different locations in Xinjiang

  • 摘要: 地震预警系统对于双震的处理在世界范围内还是一个待解决的棘手问题,双震情况复杂,不同的双震事件具有很大的差异性。2023年4月新疆新源县发生异地双震,福建预警系统快速响应,发布3报预警信息。首台触发后27.4 s发布第1报预警信息,使用了6个台站的数据。与正式报结果相比,震中偏差131.54 km,震级偏大3.4。通过对预警结果的详细分析发现,根据台站触发的时间顺序和空间位置进行关联,可能将不同的地震震相关联成同一次地震。预警首台的判定错误,造成地震定位、震级计算偏差较大,预警系统中异地双震的处理算法还有待进一步改进和完善。通过峰值加速度的衰减判定地震影响范围,通过首台附近台站触发的比例判定首台是否合理,能够有效改进和完善福建预警系统的异地双震处理算法。

     

    Abstract: The calculation of early warnings for earthquakes remains an unresolved challenge worldwide. Doublet earthquakes are complex, and different events can vary significantly. In April 2023, doublet earthquakes occurred at various locations in Xinyuan County, Xinjiang Province. The Fujian earthquake early warning system responded quickly and released three early warning reports. The first report was issued 27.4 s after the first station was triggered, using data from six stations. Compared to the official earthquake catalog, the epicenter deviation was 131.54 km and the magnitude deviation was 3.4. By analyzing the time sequence and spatial distribution of triggered stations, we found that different earthquakes may have been incorrectly associated with the same event. Errors in determining the first triggered station led to significant deviations in the calculated location and magnitude. The processing algorithm for doublet earthquakes within the early warning system must be improved. The range of earthquake influence can be estimated using peak acceleration attenuation, and the reliability of the first station can be evaluated by analyzing the triggering ratio of surrounding stations. These measures can help improve the off-site doublet earthquake processing algorithm in the Fujian early warning system
