Abstract:
Site classification is of great significance for site selection of major engineering projects and the prevention of seismic geological hazards. This paper takes Weining County as the research area. By collecting geological maps, dem digital elevation data and Landsat8-9ETM image data, we analyze the main factors that influence the classification of site categories, and determine three evaluation factors: rock category, slope, and normalized vegetation index. We use the deterministic method and fuzzy logic method based on weighted superposition to build a model. We adjust the model through measured borehole data, classify site categories, use research area survey data for verification, and compile a spatial distribution map of site categories in the study area. The results show that site categories are mainly related to lithology, slope, and NDVI. The softness and hardness of rocks play a major role in the classification of site categories. The classification method is adjusted using the measured survey point data, and the deterministic method combining slope and NDVI can more accurately classify site categories. This research result has certain reference significance for the classification of large-scale site categories.
